Nevin obtained her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at Colgate University, Hamilton, New York. After graduating in 2013, Nevin joined a startup research team at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts to discover compounds for targeting endothelial dysfunction in atherogenesis. After working there for 2 years, Nevin embarked on her PhD studies at Weill Cornell Medicine and Melnick lab. Nevin’s PhD thesis focuses on elucidating the role of recurring linker histone mutations in B-cell lymphoma and in humoral immune response, integrating mouse models, genomics and epigenetic mechanisms.
