She graduated in Biochemistry at the University of Navarra, Spain where she later completed her PhD in 2006. After that, she joined the Molecular Oncology Laboratory at the Center for Applied Medical Research-CIMA, Spain where she started working on functional genomic analysis of the B-cell lymphomas using high-throughput genomic techniques and on the development of animal models to study MALT lymphoma.
She is currently working on the study of the Mi2/NuRD complex dependent transcriptional programming of B-cell lymphomas and its possible therapeutic targeting using the tools of high throughput analysis of chromatin and gene expression and function.
