My research is focused on the genomics and epigenomics of lymphoma and leukemia, based on computational and statistical modeling of large-scale data derived from high-throughput array technologies. Specifically, I work with genomewide methylation and gene expression data in DLBCL and ALL. The aims are, 1) to define methylation signatures that can accurately classify lymphomas into diagnostic subgroups, 2) to construct methylation prognosticators that can predict the survival or response to drugs of lymphoma patients, and 3) to study the genomewide co-methylation patterns and the impact of methylation on gene expression.
